About the event
The Network for New Economic Thinking (NNET) is a new initiative connecting MPs with experts to help make the case for economic approaches which can meet this century’s challenges. Through briefings, training, one-to-one advice and support with Parliamentary interventions, NNET aims to equip MPs to challenge outdated economic thinking and bring new ideas into Parliament – around investment, tax, public services, ownership and the future of work. The reception will be an informal opportunity to meet staff from organisations including the New Economics Foundation, the Women’s Budget Group, the Fairness Foundation, the Centre for Local Economic Strategies and the Equality Trust, and to find out more about their work and how the network can support you.
The network operates on a cross-party basis. Co-hosted by Richard Quigley MP, Helen McGuire MP and Ellie Chowns…
